"Imagine if the Tea Party Was Black" is an essay that has been been making the rounds on Facebook and Twitter lately. The author invites us to play a game:

"The object of the game is to imagine the public reaction to the events or incidents, if the main actors were of color, rather than white. Whoever gains the most insight into the workings of race in America, at the end of the game, wins."

Introducing the Original Project 9-12/Tea Party of the Lehigh Valley PA

The Project 9-12/Tea Party of the Lehigh Valley came into existence in March of 2009. Since that time our numbers have grown to over one thousand strong with monthly meetings consistently being attended by over 200 members and guests. What are we all about? That is the purpose of this blog.
Who are we? What are we, and what are we not (Hint: Not a political party). These first few posts will attempt to answer these questions and more.
